Saskatoon Economic Forecast
How is Saskatoon, Saskatchewan's economic outlook lately?
Canada's Leader-Post released a June 2008 news report saying that there are certain obstacles to the growth of the economy in Saskatchewan and Canada as a whole. According to the chief economist of the TD Bank Financial Group, the obstacles that must be overcome are the shortage of labour, the unemployment of the aborigine citizens, the non-native population showing no signs of getting younger, and the decrease in the levels of education.
Despite these obstacles, however, Drummond says that there is still a positive outlook for the economy of Saskatchewan. The economy is expected to improve and grow for the next two years.
